Ksi Lisims LNG is a proposed liquefied natural gas (LNG) export project on Nisga’a Nation treaty lands on the northern coast of British Columbia, Canada (near Portland Inlet). The project is being advanced by the Nisga’a Nation in partnership with Rockies LNG Limited Partnership and Western LNG LLC. Planned design capacity is around 12 million tonnes per annum, with LNG shipments targeted to Asia-Pacific and other global markets.
The facility is envisaged to connect to Western Canada’s natural gas pipeline network and to use grid-supplied hydroelectric power for electric-driven liquefaction, aiming to lower greenhouse-gas intensity. Ksi Lisims LNG is undergoing environmental and regulatory reviews and has not reached a final investment decision.
