Honeywell Latin America is the regional division of Honeywell International Inc., a multinational technology company, focused on Latin American markets. It oversees operations across Honeywell's business groups, including significant involvement in the chemical and energy sectors through Honeywell UOP, a leading licensor of process technologies for refining, petrochemicals, gas processing, and renewable fuels.
The division supports key projects in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production, such as Petrobras' selection of Honeywell UOP’s Ethanol-to-Jet (ETJ) technology for a proposed 10,000 barrels per day unit at the REPLAN refinery in São Paulo, Brazil—the first large-scale ETJ initiative in the region. It also licensed UOP’s HEFA process in 2024 for SAF and renewable diesel at Petrobras' Presidente Bernardes Refinery using feedstocks like soybean oil and beef tallow.
Honeywell Latin America provides automation, process solutions, and technical expertise to oil & gas, refining, and chemical industries, leveraging long-standing partnerships like with Petrobras for refining, gas processing, and systems such as Experion PKS.
