Gulftainer, established in 1976, is a privately owned operator of container terminals and provider of integrated maritime and logistics solutions, managing facilities including Khorfakkan Commercial Terminal and Sharjah Container Terminal in the UAE, as well as ports in Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and the United States.
GT Lines operates dedicated container liner services connecting Asia—such as China (Khorfakkan China Express - KCX), India (India-Gulf Express - GIX), and Pakistan (Khorfakkan Pakistan Express - KPX)—to UAE ports, particularly Khorfakkan, offering reliable capacity for regional trade. The division supports inland logistics, including management of supply chain volumes for chemical producers like Borouge, enhancing coordination between transport, ports, and multimodal networks to improve efficiency and throughput.
