Gasunie Transport Services B.V. (GTS) is the certified transmission system operator (TSO) for the Netherlands’ high‑pressure natural gas grid and a subsidiary of the state‑owned N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie. It plans, operates, and maintains the national transmission network to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient gas transport.

GTS manages capacity booking and nominations, system balancing, and gas quality conversion between high‑ and low‑calorific gas. It facilitates the Netherlands’ virtual trading point, the Title Transfer Facility (TTF), and provides connections to industrial sites, power plants, storage facilities, and cross‑border interconnectors. Its pipeline, compressor, and metering infrastructure supports gas supply across the country, including major industrial and chemical clusters. GTS operates under Dutch and EU regulation and publishes system and market data for transparency. As part of the energy transition, it supports the integration of renewable gases and prepares interfaces with emerging hydrogen infrastructure within the Gasunie group.
