Grupo Español para el Crecimiento Verde (GECV), also known as the Spanish Green Growth Group, is a Spanish non-profit association dedicated to fostering public-private collaboration on environmental sustainability and climate action.

Founded to address key ecological challenges, the GECV unites over 60 member companies from diverse sectors and sizes. These include prominent large enterprises representing about 70% of Spain's IBEX 35 stock index, alongside innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Notable members encompass energy giants like Iberdrola, infrastructure firms such as Ferrovial and Acciona, financial institutions including BBVA, and others like Telefónica and Ecoembes.

The association's main activities focus on promoting a rapid ecological transition, circular economy practices, renewable energy deployment with a just transition approach, sustainable finance, digitalization, biodiversity protection, and natural capital preservation. It develops policy recommendations, organizes events and working groups, publishes reports and best practice guides, and engages with national and international bodies such as the OECD, European Commission, and various Spanish public entities.

Operating primarily across Spain, the GECV serves as a vital platform for businesses to influence environmental policies, share knowledge, and drive competitive advantages through sustainability. Its governance includes an assembly of members and a board of directors with representatives from leading member companies. Carmen Navarro serves as its gerente or executive director.

In the Spanish business landscape, the GECV plays a significant role in advancing green growth strategies that align economic prosperity with environmental stewardship.
