Fujian Sinopec Aramco Refining & Petrochemical Co. Ltd. is a joint venture between China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) and Saudi Aramco. Based in China’s Fujian Province, the company is established to develop and operate an integrated complex combining crude oil refining with petrochemical production.
The venture’s operations are designed to convert crude into transportation fuels and petrochemical feedstocks, and to manufacture key chemicals such as olefins, aromatics, and related polymers used across plastics, packaging, and industrial applications. By pairing Aramco’s upstream supply capabilities with Sinopec’s refining and chemical expertise, the project aims to serve China’s domestic market and regional value chains with large-scale, integrated production.
