Fértil Pampa S.A.U. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Argentine energy company Pampa Energía S.A. It is developing a large-scale granular urea fertilizer production complex in the Bahía Blanca Industrial Complex, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina.
The facility includes an ammonia plant and two ultra-low energy urea trains with a combined capacity of 2.1 million tons per year of granular urea, making it the largest such plant in Latin America. It occupies an 80-hectare site with access to gas pipelines, power, water, and export port facilities.
The project, with a contract value of approximately €1.3 billion awarded in July 2026, is scheduled for completion in 41 months and is expected to employ around 300 people once operational while prioritizing local hiring.
