EnergyPathways plc

About EnergyPathways

EnergyPathways plc is a UK energy transition company listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange under ticker EPP. It develops integrated low-carbon energy solutions focused on long-duration energy storage and hydrogen production to support the United Kingdom's net zero ambitions and energy security.

The company's flagship asset is the 100% owned Marram Energy Storage Hub (MESH) project, a large-scale long-duration energy storage facility in the East Irish Sea connected to Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. MESH combines compressed air energy storage, natural gas storage transitioning to hydrogen, and related infrastructure to capture surplus wind power, reduce curtailment costs, and provide flexible low-carbon power. The project has been designated of national significance by the UK government and targets commercial operation in the early 2030s.

EnergyPathways is also advancing a hydrogen and graphite production plant in Barrow-in-Furness as part of MESH, with planned capacity of 20,000 tonnes per annum of low-carbon hydrogen and approximately 60,000 tonnes per annum of high-grade synthetic graphite. The facility will employ methane pyrolysis technology under exclusive UK rights from Hazer Group Ltd, in engineering partnership with KBR Inc. The company collaborates with partners including Jacobs, Siemens Energy, Wood Group, Costain, and Associated British Ports.

Incorporated in England and Wales in 2021 (company number 13201653) with registered office in Worthing, West Sussex, EnergyPathways plc operates through wholly owned subsidiaries such as EnergyPathways Irish Sea Limited. It is a public company with founder and CEO Ben Clube. In the industry, it positions itself as an emerging developer of scalable UK energy storage and hydrogen infrastructure.
