Elia Group SA/NV is a European electricity transmission system operator headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. Through its subsidiaries Elia Transmission Belgium and 50Hertz Transmission in Germany, the Group operates, maintains, and develops high‑voltage grids in Belgium and in parts of northern and eastern Germany, enabling reliable power transmission and cross‑border electricity flows within the European market.
As a regulated TSO, Elia Group plans and builds onshore and offshore transmission infrastructure, provides system balancing and grid connection services, and facilitates electricity market operations and interconnectors.
