Emirates Global Aluminium PJSC (EGA) is a United Arab Emirates–based, vertically integrated aluminium producer and one of the country’s largest industrial companies outside oil and gas. Jointly owned by Mubadala Investment Company and Investment Corporation of Dubai, EGA’s activities span bauxite mining via Guinea Alumina Corporation in West Africa, alumina refining at Al Taweelah in Abu Dhabi, and primary aluminium smelting and casting in the UAE.
EGA operates large smelters at Jebel Ali (Dubai) and Al Taweelah (Abu Dhabi), supported by captive power generation and proprietary reduction technologies. The company supplies billets, slabs, foundry alloys and high‑purity aluminium to customers in sectors including automotive, construction, packaging, electrical and consumer goods. EGA focuses on operational efficiency and environmental performance, including energy management, reuse of industrial by-products such as spent pot lining, and research and development aimed at reducing the carbon intensity of aluminium production.
