Eesti Energia AS (Eesti Energia, also known internationally as Enefit) is Estonia’s state-owned energy group. The company’s operations span electricity generation, oil shale mining and processing, heat and power production, and energy retail in the Baltic region and neighboring markets. It operates major generation assets in Narva and develops renewable energy projects, including wind and solar, through dedicated subsidiaries.

For the chemical and process industries, Eesti Energia is notable for producing liquid fuels from oil shale using proprietary retorting and upgrading technologies, alongside associated gas handling and by-product management.
