Eesti Energia AS is Estonia’s state-owned integrated energy group, active across the Baltic and Nordic markets under the Enefit brand. Its businesses include electricity and heat generation, oil shale mining and liquid fuels production, energy retail, and related services. Through subsidiaries, the group also develops and operates wind and solar assets, including via the listed company Enefit Green.
For industrial and chemical sectors, Eesti Energia produces shale‑oil–based liquid fuels and other hydrocarbon feedstocks from locally mined oil shale, alongside power and steam for industrial use. The company operates large thermal generation assets around Narva and is expanding renewable capacity. It also engages in cross‑border wholesale trading and customer supply in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, and Poland.
