Deutsche Giessdraht GmbH is a copper wire rod producer based in Emmerich am Rhein, Germany. Founded in 1975, the company has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Aurubis AG since 2018. It operates one site with approximately 120 employees and an annual production capacity of up to 300,000 tonnes of high-conductivity copper wire rod, used as feedstock for wire, cables and related applications.
The company received The Copper Mark certification in 2025, joining other Aurubis facilities under the assurance framework for responsible copper production.
