The China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF), legally known as 中国石油和化学工业联合会, is a national, non-profit industry association established in Beijing on April 28, 2001. Formerly the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association (renamed in 2010), it serves as an umbrella organization for enterprises, institutions, sectional associations, and local groups in China's petroleum and chemical sectors, with over 300 direct members.
CPCIF provides services including technology appraisal, standards development, training, and policy advocacy. It organizes major events such as the China Petroleum and Chemical International Conference (CPCIC) and the International Chemical Industry Fair (ICIF), promotes green development, carbon neutrality, and industrial upgrading, and publishes reports like the "Green Development Blue Book." The federation facilitates communication between industry and government, safeguards member interests, and supports innovation in areas like energy efficiency and sustainability.
