Breakwall Capital LP is an independent, employee-owned asset management firm specializing in energy credit investments. Founded in 2024 by former managing partners of Riverstone Credit Partners, the firm provides structured financing solutions, including senior secured direct lending, to middle-market and developing companies across the energy value chain.

Breakwall focuses on conventional, renewable, and next-generation energy sectors, including energy infrastructure, upstream oil and gas, mining, and critical minerals. It manages funds such as Breakwall Energy Credit Partners and partners with Vitol on Valor-branded vehicles, like Valor Mining Credit Partners II, which recently provided a $520 million credit facility to Mesabi Metallics for its direct reduction-grade iron ore project in Minnesota.

With offices in New York, Texas, and Rhode Island, Breakwall has raised approximately $4.9 billion in capital since 2014 (team track record) and supports energy transition initiatives through asset-based loans tailored to project development and growth.
