About bpTT

bp Trinidad and Tobago LLC (bpTT) is the Trinidad and Tobago upstream subsidiary of bp, focused on the exploration, development, and production of natural gas and condensate. It is one of the country’s largest gas producers, with operations centered offshore in the Columbus Basin and adjacent acreage. The company is headquartered in Port of Spain.

bpTT operates and partners across multiple offshore fields and processing hubs—such as Juniper, Angelin, Matapal, and the Cassia C compression platform—using platforms and subsea infrastructure to deliver gas to shore via pipelines. Its production supplies the domestic market and Atlantic LNG at Point Fortin, and underpins feedstock for petrochemical manufacturing (including ammonia and methanol) at the Point Lisas Industrial Estate. Through these activities, bpTT is a key contributor to Trinidad and Tobago’s energy and chemical value chains, working alongside state entities and joint-venture partners.
