Bondalti is a Portuguese chemical company within the José de Mello Group, focused on basic and intermediate chemicals. Formerly known as CUF – Químicos Industriais, it rebranded as Bondalti in 2018. Its core activities include chlor-alkali production and aromatic amines, particularly aniline and nitrobenzene, which are key inputs for multiple downstream industries.

The company’s portfolio covers chlorine, caustic soda, hydrogen, hydrochloric acid, sodium hypochlorite, aniline, nitrobenzene, and related derivatives. These products serve applications in polyurethane intermediates (MDI), PVC and other vinyls, water treatment, pulp and paper, textiles, and general industrial processing. Bondalti operates manufacturing sites in Iberia and other European locations and also provides industrial water and wastewater treatment solutions through its water division.
