Brunei Fertilizer Industries Sdn Bhd (BFI) is a state-owned enterprise established on October 28, 2013, and fully owned by the Government of Brunei Darussalam. Located in Sungai Liang Industrial Park, Belait District, on a 55-hectare site, it operates Brunei's premier ammonia and urea production facility, recognized as one of the largest single-train fertilizer plants in Southeast Asia.

The integrated complex includes an ammonia plant with a capacity of 2,200 metric tons per day, fully converted to produce 3,900 metric tons per day of granular urea, utilizing domestic natural gas and water as feedstocks. Annual output reaches approximately 1.36 million tons of urea. Products serve domestic agriculture and international export markets including South Korea, Thailand, India, Australia, Latin America, and the United States.

BFI supports Brunei's downstream oil and gas diversification, with recent expansions including cryogenic ammonia storage and export facilities to enable large-scale ammonia shipments.
