ANDRITZ Hydropower Brazil

ANDRITZ HYDRO LTDA. is the Brazilian subsidiary of ANDRITZ Hydropower, a division of the Austria-based ANDRITZ GROUP. Headquartered in Barueri, São Paulo, it supplies electro-mechanical equipment and services for hydropower plants, including turbines, generators, and complete turnkey solutions for new builds and rehabilitations.

The company has delivered or refurbished hundreds of units across Brazil with substantial installed capacity. In 2026, it was awarded two major contracts by COPEL for additional generating units at the Foz do Areia and Segredo plants, expanding capacity by over 2.1 GW with operations expected from 2030.
