The Association of International Chemical Manufacturers (AICM) is a non-profit industry association representing multinational chemical companies operating in China. It serves as a collective forum for international producers and related businesses to engage on regulatory, environmental, health, safety, and product stewardship topics relevant to the Chinese chemical sector.
AICM promotes the Responsible Care program and other best practices in process safety, environmental protection, and sustainable operations. The association facilitates dialogue with government authorities and stakeholders, provides platforms for sharing technical and regulatory know-how, and organizes training, working groups, and industry events. It also recognizes initiatives that advance safety, resource efficiency, and stewardship across the chemical value chain in China.
