AGR functions as the management entity for an unincorporated joint venture, 75% owned by CSBP Ltd (a subsidiary of Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy & Fertilisers) and 25% owned by Coogee Chemicals Pty Ltd. CSBP acts as the operating and sales agent, providing operational expertise, logistics, and sustainability support. The company has operated for over 35 years and is a founding signatory to the International Cyanide Management Code (ICMI), with multiple full-compliance certifications.
Current annual production capacity exceeds 90,000 tonnes, positioning AGR as one of the top five global producers and the largest sodium cyanide production site outside China. It supplies mining operations across Australia as well as export markets in Asia, Africa, the Americas, and the Middle East.
