Algérienne des Eaux (ADE), also known as the Algerian Water Company, is a state-owned public industrial and commercial establishment (EPIC) headquartered in Algiers, Algeria. Created in 2001 by executive decree, it produces and distributes potable water, serving more than 1,000 communes and supplying approximately 7.5 million cubic meters per day to over 28 million inhabitants.
ADE manages water resources as part of national efforts to enhance water security. It receives allocations from desalination projects, such as the Skikda plant developed by Sonatrach Group subsidiaries, which will provide 40,000 cubic meters per day to the company upon completion.
