Exolum 7CO₂ is a subsidiary of Exolum, Europe's leading energy logistics company, established to develop and operate a CO₂ storage and shipping terminal at Avonmouth Docks, Port of Bristol, UK.
Formed through an agreement with Severnside Carbon, which provides advisory support, and with Técnicas Reunidas as engineering partner, the terminal enables flexible, modular transport of captured CO₂ by rail and ship. Planned to commence operations from 2031, it offers open-access logistics with a capacity of up to six million tonnes of CO₂ per year.
The facility serves industries in southwest England, the Midlands, and South Wales—regions outside existing UK CCUS clusters—supporting decarbonization of emitters, data centers, and sustainable aviation fuel projects by facilitating transport to permanent storage or utilization.
