The belt of refineries and chemical plants along the St. Clair River from Sarnia south through Corunna and Mooretown, in Lambton County, Ontario. It holds the Imperial, Suncor and Shell refineries, NOVA Chemicals' cracker and polyethylene plants, synthetic rubber, styrene, butadiene and carbon black plants, and newer hydrogen, ethanol and battery-material production.
