Polimery Police

The new plant will produce 437,000 tonnes of polypropylene annually, starting August 2023. It features advanced technologies, an Offshore Gas Terminal, and will boost Poland's plastics production and energy independence.

The first 22,000 tonnes of propane have been delivered to the new gas terminal in Police, Poland, marking a key milestone in the final phase of the Polimery Police chemical complex project.

The contract covers developing a new petrochemical complex, ensuring compliance with license agreements, obtaining necessary approvals, and conducting personnel training, with a budget of about EUR 1.5 billion.

The Polimery Police project aims to boost Poland's polypropylene production, reducing imports and creating jobs. The project budget is capped at EUR 1.52bn, with completion expected by Q4 2022.
