An industrial park in Zapopan, on the north-western edge of the Guadalajara metropolitan area in Jalisco, home to several pharmaceutical and medical plants. Fresenius Medical Care opened its dialysis solutions plant and Mexican head office here in 2002, Fresenius Kabi has a pharmaceutical plant there, and Virbac opened its veterinary medicines plant in 2014, alongside the ophthalmic drug maker Sophia and the generics maker Vitae.
