Formosa Plastics' petrochemical complex of nearly 2,500 acres at Point Comfort on Lavaca Bay, Texas, which started with a VCM/PVC plant in 1983. It runs ethylene crackers and makes polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, ethylene glycol, chlorine and caustic soda.
