RFNBO Certification Achieved
Lhyfe has secured RFNBO certification for its four hydrogen production sites in France and Germany, totaling 21 MW. This certification, the highest environmental standard in the industry, confirms that the hydrogen produced is 100% renewable and meets the stringent criteria set by the European Union's Renewable Energy Directive (RED III).
Site Details
The Bouin site in the Pays de la Loire region, with a capacity of 1 MW, was the first in France to receive RFNBO certification in May 2025. The Buléon and Bessières sites, each with a capacity of 5 MW, are the largest production sites in France. The Schwäbisch Gmünd site in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, is Lhyfe's largest at 10 MW and the second-largest RFNBO hydrogen production site in Germany.
