Wanhua, ENGEL and Hitech sign strategic cooperation on auto-parts molding

Deal signed at K exhibition
On October 10, 2025, at the K exhibition in Germany, Wanhua Chemical, ENGEL and Hitech Co., Ltd. jointly signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Senior leaders witnessing the signing included Hua Weiqi, Executive Vice President of Wanhua Chemical Group; Gero Willmeroth, President Asia and Oceania of ENGEL; and Sun Wenqiang, Chairman of Hitech Co., Ltd.
Integrated chain approach
The cooperation links core capabilities across the polymer materials and precision manufacturing chain: Wanhua provides high-performance polyurethanes and high-performance engineering plastics; ENGEL provides world-leading injection molding system solutions and process/equipment support for molding complex components; and Hitech contributes its experience from more than 10,000 automotive molds to achieve precise mold transformation from materials to products.
Commercial and technical objectives
The three-party integration aims to deliver integrated molding solutions for the automotive industry from concept to mass production, improve development efficiency, optimise production costs and accelerate application of lightweight and intelligent technologies. Moving forward, the parties will pursue technical collaboration and industrial-chain integration to support high-quality development of auto parts manufacturing.
