Wanhua Chemical debuts at CHINACOAT 2025 with eco‑friendly high‑performance coatings

At CHINACOAT 2025 in Shanghai, Wanhua Chemical presented raw materials and application solutions for coatings, emphasizing high performance and environmental responsibility.

Aliphatic isocyanates and specialty monomers

Wanhua launched WANNATE® HT‑800, an elastic HDI trimer for waterproofing, flooring and soft‑feel coatings, and WANNATE® ITBL‑400, an IPDI‑blocked curing agent for powder coatings. The company also showcased Tolonate™ aliphatic isocyanates and Easaqua™ water‑compatible polyisocyanates supplied from its France plant to offer customers greater global supply flexibility. WANNATE® XDI‑TMP adduct was introduced as a high‑reactivity monomer for inks and micro‑encapsulation films.

Specialty amines, solvents and water‑borne resins

New aliphatic amines WANAMINE® MXDA and WANAMINE® 1,3‑BAC plus cycloaliphatic WANAMINE® 2600 were presented to expand epoxy curing options, alongside upgraded WANAMINE® 2300 (poly‑cycloaliphatic) and WANAMINE® 6200 (aromatic secondary amine) for epoxy and polyurea coatings. High‑purity solvents WANKETONE® MIBK and DIBK were also on display. For water‑borne systems, the Wantipro® series of low‑odor, low‑VOC acrylic emulsions (including Wantipro® 0838 and 0857) and Archsol® products — Archsol® 8130 styrene‑acrylic emulsion and PUDs Archsol® 8355 and 8357 — target printing and packaging inks, low‑SVOC interior wall paints and weather‑resistant, high‑elastic waterproofing membranes.

Additional offerings and presence

The exhibit included polyurethane ink resins, polycarbonate polyols, NMP and MDI‑based compression‑moulded pallets. Wanhua invited attendees to its booth W2‑F01 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
