Exhibit overview
At SEPAWA CONGRESS in Berlin (October 14–16), WACKER is highlighting silicone additives for household and personal-care products at Booth B308-309, with additional practical demonstrations at the IMCD distributor booth (B311–B317).
Silicones for textiles and surfaces
WACKER is promoting water-based silicone emulsions, amino-functional silicone fluids, alkyl-modified silicone waxes and silicone resins for waterproofing and improving tactile and visual properties. Products called out include LIOSIL® HC 603 E for water-based textile impregnations, MQ 803 TF resin and W 23 functional silicone wax for solvent-based sprays, and amino-functional fluid L 656 to enhance water run-off and reduce dirt pickup on glass.
Bio-based formulations
BELNEXT® EMO FH2, a ferment-derived 100% bio-based emollient, is presented in the SEPAWA Innovation Zone (poster IZ21) for its sensory, pigment-dispersing and emulsion-stabilizing properties. BELNEXT® GAL 1860, a biotechnologically derived aminolipid, offers lamellar liquid-crystal conditioning for hair, improved combability, biodegradability and requires no pre-neutralization.
Events and demonstrations
Presentations include the BELNEXT® aminolipid talk at Forum for Innovation on October 15 at 11:00 by Florence Olechowski and Sonja Bauhuber, and IMCD-hosted demos at 11:00 and 14:00 on October 14 and at 14:00 on October 15.
