Sequoia 2025 Participation

Sequoia 2025, Veolia's employee shareholding initiative, was open to approximately 190,000 employees across 56 countries. It achieved a record subscription rate of nearly 45%, with over 85,000 employees participating. This marks the highest participation in Veolia's history.

Financial Details

The total amount raised through Sequoia 2025 was €329.3 million, corresponding to 13,065,890 shares. This includes 11,289,176 new shares issued via capital increase. To counteract the dilutive effect of this offer, Veolia executed a capital reduction by canceling an equivalent number of treasury shares acquired through its share buyback program. As a result, the share capital remains unchanged at €3,708,617,185, divided into 741,723,437 shares with a par value of €5 each.

Employee Shareholding

Following these operations, Veolia's employees have strengthened their position as the company's largest shareholder group, now holding over 9.5% of the share capital. This development aligns with the objectives outlined in Veolia's GreenUp 24-27 strategic plan.
