Introduction
UBE Corporation and Tohoku University have launched the Co-creation Research Institute for Future Driven Technologies within Tohoku University's Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Advanced Materials.
Objective
The institute aims to develop innovative materials and technologies in response to high social demand in the fields of life sciences, environment and energy, and electronics.
Collaboration
This initiative combines Tohoku University's research capabilities and industry-academia collaboration experience with UBE's expertise in specialty chemicals.
