Production Expansion
Evonik has successfully doubled its production capacity for the transparent, high-performance polyamide TROGAMID® CX. The new production line became operational as scheduled in February 2020, addressing the growing demand for this material.
Material Properties
TROGAMID® CX is a semi-crystalline polyamide known for its superior chemical resistance and stress crack resistance compared to amorphous plastics. It also offers high resistance to UV radiation, low water absorption, and excellent dimensional stability. These properties make it suitable for a wide range of applications.
