Agreement scope

Tecnimont, part of MAIRE’s Integrated E&C Solutions unit, and Sinopec Engineering Group (SEG) have signed an agreement to enhance collaboration across the full project value chain for large-scale energy and chemicals projects. The arrangement is intended to leverage engineering, procurement, manufacturing and construction capabilities from both parties.

Planned activities

Under the framework, the two companies will jointly assess and pursue selected global opportunities, engage in joint bidding and commercial development initiatives, and promote technical and operational exchanges aimed at strengthening execution capabilities and maximising value creation for clients and stakeholders.

Commercial intent

The collaboration aims to enhance competitiveness, broaden commercial reach and support delivery of increasingly complex projects in key international markets by combining Tecnimont’s advanced engineering and global procurement platform with SEG’s manufacturing and large-scale construction strengths.

The agreement was signed at MAIRE’s Milan headquarters by Alessandro Bernini, CEO of MAIRE, and Zhang Xinming, President of SEG, with Lü Shijun (representative of Shanghai Engineering Company) and senior international business representatives from both companies present.
