SUNPOR Kunststoff GmbH plans to increase EPS production capacity by 30,000 tons/year due to high demand. With a total capacity of 260,000 tons/year, they aim to support customers and the growing EPS market. The expansion is expected to be completed by the 2nd quarter of 2022, aligning with climate protection efforts.
Due to the strong growth in demand for EPS (Expandable Polystyrene) over the past months, SUNPOR Kunststoff GmbH is planning to increase its production capacity for EPS beads by an additional 30,000 tons per year.
With a total capacity of 260,000 tons per year, sunpor will ensure the raw material supply of its customers also in the future and thus permanently accompany the growing EPS market.
The implementation phase for the expansion is scheduled for 6 to 8 months and is expected to be completed in the 2nd quarter of 2022.
