Commissioning and acceptance
Sulzer and BeyondPoly signed the final acceptance certificate for the DEVO™ purification unit, confirming the system has been installed, tested and is operating as intended at BeyondPoly’s new POE plant.
Technology function and benefits
The DEVO™ purification technology performs a devolatilization step to remove residual compounds from POE while preserving its mechanical and optical properties; the system supports consistent product quality, low residual volatile content and energy-efficient operation at industrial scale.
Plant capacity and market context
The facility has ramped to its planned production capacity and has a nameplate capacity of 100,000 tonnes per year. POE is used in applications such as solar panels, electric vehicles, energy storage systems and cables because of its strength, elasticity, durability and optical clarity, supporting growing demand.
