Partnership scope

Brenntag announced a strategic collaboration with Budenheim to combine Budenheim’s high-purity phosphate manufacturing with Brenntag’s biopharma services and distribution. The tie-up aims to serve customers needing both commercial-scale supply and smaller, biopharma-oriented pack sizes.

Packaging and distribution

Budenheim’s dedicated biopharma phosphates will be offered through Brenntag’s BYPHAR brand in pack sizes of 15 kg or less, available globally to support development through commercial manufacturing. Budenheim’s PharSQ Pure line will continue in packaging of 25 kg and above and will be distributed by Brenntag solely across Europe.

Products and applications

The portfolio includes seven GMP-manufactured phosphates (monosodium phosphate: anhydrous, monohydrate, dihydrate; disodium phosphate: anhydrous, dihydrate, heptahydrate, dodecahydrate).
