Introduction of Hypac™ Crosslinkers

On 17 July 2025, Stahl launched Hypac™, a new range of carbodiimide crosslinkers designed for packaging coatings. These crosslinkers enhance the performance and durability of coatings while maintaining sustainability and safety standards.

Performance Benefits

Crosslinkers are known for improving tensile strength, resistance to cracks, abrasion, chemicals, water, and heat, as well as enhancing adhesion. Hypac™ crosslinkers allow coated products to endure various climates, extending their lifespan and reducing maintenance costs.

Product Range

The Hypac™ range includes conventional isocyanate and aziridine-based crosslinkers, alongside more sustainable carbodiimide alternatives. This versatility caters to diverse application requirements.

Sustainability and Safety

Carbodiimide crosslinkers in the Hypac™ range offer high performance without using carcinogenic, mutagenic, or reprotoxic materials. They are classified as non-hazardous under the Global Harmonized System (GHS) and are VOC-free. Many products cure at room temperature, are water-based, and have a long pot life, making them a sustainable and safe choice for high-performance crosslinking.
