Stahl acquires Weilburger Graphics packaging coatings business in Brazil

Strategic expansion in Brazil
Stahl has signed an agreement to acquire the graphics coatings business of Weilburger Coatings in Brazil, adding a complementary packaging coatings portfolio to its regional offering.
Brazil and the wider Latin American region are identified as growth markets, particularly in food, beverage and consumer packaging segments. “Ensuring continuity for our customers is our highest priority,” said Saul Rios, Managing Director LATAM at Stahl.
Operations and timeline
During the course of 2026 Stahl will progressively insource the Weilburger product portfolio at its own site in Brazil and has invested in expanding manufacturing capabilities to enable production of both Stahl and Weilburger Graphics technologies.
The acquisition is expected to be completed in the next weeks, subject to regulatory approvals.
