SPIC Q4 profit up 51.5% to Rs 29.49 crore; FY26 net up 35.9%

Financial performance

SPIC reported consolidated Q4 net profit of Rs. 29.49 crore, a 51.5% increase from the prior-year quarter, and profit before tax of Rs. 45.98 crore, up 53.7%. Revenue from operations for the quarter fell to Rs. 584.15 crore from Rs. 754.37 crore; total income was Rs. 595.73 crore. On a standalone basis, net profit nearly doubled to Rs. 26.15 crore and standalone PBT more than doubled to Rs. 41.82 crore.

For FY26, consolidated net profit rose 35.9% to Rs. 211.48 crore on revenue from operations of Rs. 2,955.97 crore. Standalone net profit increased to Rs. 186.16 crore for the year, with standalone revenue matching consolidated revenue at Rs. 2,955.97 crore.

Operations

The urea plant operated for 73 days in the quarter versus 90 days a year earlier. Q4 urea production was 1.48 lakh metric tonnes with sales of 1.43 lakh metric tonnes. For the full year, production reached 7.21 lakh MT and sales were 7.14 lakh MT.

Subsidy support

Subsidy income under Government of India fertilizer policy norms remained a significant support, with Rs. 450.33 crore recognised in the quarter and Rs. 2,426.91 crore for FY26.
