On March 14, Sinopec supplied 8,549 tons of fuel oil to the "Excellence," marking the largest single bunker fuel load in China. This operation took place at Luhuashan Anchorage, Shanghai.
Advanced Vessel Features
The "Excellence" is the world's first vessel equipped with an offshore carbon capture and storage (CCS) device. It has a carbon sequestration capacity equivalent to 110,000 acres of forest annually.
Operational Strategy
Sinopec Fuel Oil Company utilized its resource integration and operational capabilities to ensure a stable supply. A specialized oil supply plan was formulated in advance to meet the vessel's clean fuel requirements.
