Green Technology Innovation Cases
The China Patent Protection Association recently announced the "2025 Annual Green Technology Innovation Cases," selecting 60 cases that showcase advancements in green technology. These cases highlight significant developments in sustainable and low-carbon technologies.
Key Technological Developments
Among the selected cases are key technologies for producing sustainable bio-aviation fuel, developed by the Petrochemical Research Institute. Additionally, new technologies for green and low-carbon cyclohexene esterification and hydrogenation to prepare cyclohexanone were recognized. The Shanghai Institute's high-efficiency catalyst and complete technology for ethylene valorization also made the list, alongside Qingdao Refining and Chemical's dual-membrane desalination technology for reclaimed water.
Purpose and Goals
The selection process is a joint effort by the China Patent Protection Association and the Digital Transformation Promotion Center of the Green Energy Industry. The initiative aims to discover, summarize, and exchange successful experiences and practices within the "dual-carbon" industry. It seeks to promote the industrialization of "dual-carbon" industry patents and accelerate the transformation of green innovation results into new quality productivity.
