From April 21–24 the China International Plastics & Rubber Industry Exhibition was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai); Sinopec participated with a booth organized into five themed zones: sports health, functional packaging, green sustainable development, innovative materials, and key industry solutions.
Exhibits and solutions
The booth presented 25 sub‑industry solutions and product mini‑lectures targeting applications such as wires and cables, new energy vehicles, medical protection, pipelines, large infusions, medical devices, fuel tanks, photovoltaics, and high‑barrier packaging, and displayed over 150 new materials including synthetic resins, synthetic rubbers, and synthetic fibers plus integrated solutions.
Digital channel
An online "Sinopec e‑Trade" exhibition zone ran concurrently to provide product and service information.
Strategic partnership
On April 22 Sinopec Chemical Sales Company signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Amcor to cooperate on advanced packaging material solutions, global product development, and sustainability initiatives.
