Siemens has been awarded the Platinum medal in the 2025 EcoVadis Sustainability Rating, placing it among the top one percent of approximately 130,000 companies assessed globally. This recognition underscores Siemens' commitment to sustainability across various domains.

Assessment Scores

Siemens achieved a score of 86 points, surpassing its previous best performance. Siemens Mobility, assessed separately, received a score of 84 points. These scores reflect significant achievements in EcoVadis' assessment areas, including Environment, Ethics, Labor & Human Rights, and Sustainable Procurement.

Sustainability Impact

Over 90 percent of Siemens' business activities contribute to positive sustainability impacts. The company focuses on three key areas: decarbonization and energy efficiency, resource efficiency and circularity, and people centricity and societal impact. These efforts are integral to Siemens' operations and its support for customer sustainability goals.

International Standards

The EcoVadis business sustainability rating is based on international sustainability standards. These include the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, the International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, and ISO 26000.
