PPG ONE RANGE — PPG launches one-component marine coatings for onboard maintenance

Product launch
PPG announced the PPG ONE RANGE portfolio of five one-component marine coatings, introduced at SMM 2026 in Hamburg. The ready-to-use products are positioned to simplify onboard fleet maintenance by removing mixing requirements and reducing application complexity for ship crews.
Technologies and purpose
The portfolio incorporates waterborne, alkyd and polyurethane technologies for both interior and exterior maintenance tasks. PPG says the range streamlines product preparation, storage and handling, reduces waste and incorporates technologies that support low volatile organic compound (VOC) compliance and low flame spread certification.
Application tool
PPG previewed the PPG POWERPACK, a portable battery-powered application system developed to improve application efficiency with the One Range portfolio. The PowerPack allows crews to switch between roller and brush using a single unit, cutting equipment changes and aiming to boost productivity.
Demonstration
PPG showcased the PPG One Range portfolio and the PPG PowerPack tool at SMM Hamburg, Sept. 1–4, 2026, in Hall B, stand 419.
