Partnership and funding
PPG extended its collaboration with Dutch education nonprofit C3 for two years, committing €120,000 (about $140,000) to support STEM education in chemistry, life sciences and process technology.
Beta Tournament
Funding supports C3’s national Beta Tournament for VMBO students, a team-based lab competition with practical challenges and PPG-developed paint and coatings experiments using SIGMA COATINGS paints, expected to reach up to 1,450 students during the partnership.
Educational resources and teacher support
Grants will fund classroom modules (The Paint Experiment; The Sustainable Paint Factory digital lessons), teacher training, the annual national chemistry teacher conference and development of the online STEM platform exactwatjezoekt.nl for student learning support and career orientation.
