Key highlights
  • Receivership procedure initiated by Evry Commercial Court on 29 September 2025.
  • Four asset takeover offers submitted, subject to conditions before 03 November 2025 hearing.
  • No proposals for share acquisition or capital investment received.
  • Potential judicial liquidation could lead to delisting and zero residual share value.

Receivership Initiation

On 29 September 2025, the Evry Commercial Court initiated a receivership procedure for Global Bioenergies. SCP Abitbol & Rousselet, represented by MaƮtre Joanna Rousselet, was appointed as the administrator. This step follows a pre-pack sale process started on 03 June 2025.

Objective and Offers

The procedure aims to explore solutions for continuing operations and preserving jobs, potentially through a sale plan. Currently, four offers to acquire parts of the company's assets are under consideration by the court. These offers are subject to change and must meet certain conditions before the review hearing.

Potential Outcomes

No proposals have been made to acquire shares or invest in the company's capital. If no final offer is accepted, judicial liquidation proceedings will commence alongside the court's judgment. This could result in the delisting of Global Bioenergies' shares, with their residual value likely being zero due to liabilities exceeding asset sale proceeds.

Upcoming Hearing

The court is scheduled to review the takeover offers on 03 November 2025. The outcome of this hearing will determine the future course of action for Global Bioenergies, including the possibility of liquidation.
