Agreement Overview
NEXTCHEM and Uzkimyosanoat JSC have signed an agreement to explore a carbon capture project in Uzbekistan. This collaboration was announced during the Uzbekistan Economic Day in Brussels, attended by the President of Uzbekistan, H.E. Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Project Details
The focus is on developing a carbon capture storage initiative using NEXTCHEM’s NX DecarbTM technology. A Joint Working Group will be established to conduct a feasibility report, aligning with Uzbekistan's recent decarbonization regulations.
Future Collaboration
The agreement may lead to further collaboration on the project's execution, involving other companies from the MAIRE group for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction phases, as well as securing financing.
