Neste, a leader in renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel, acquired 100% of Count Terminal Rotterdam BV and its supporting entities from the First Dutch Group. The transaction was finalized on 7 May 2020.

Operational Capabilities

Count Terminal Rotterdam specializes in storing, refining, and blending renewable waste and residue-based raw materials in the Rotterdam harbor area. This terminal is Neste's first owned asset for renewable feedstock aggregation, enhancing its raw material logistics and global competitiveness.

Neste's Presence in the Netherlands

Neste has been active in the Netherlands since 2011, with its Rotterdam refinery being one of the world's largest and most advanced renewable diesel refineries, alongside its Singapore facility. The Sluiskil plant handles storage and pre-treatment of renewable raw materials, while Neste Demeter B.V. supplies raw materials to the Rotterdam refinery. In addition, Neste recently opened a new office in Hoofddorp, Amsterdam, serving as the global hub for its Renewable Aviation business.
