Energy and Water Efficiency Recognition
The China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation has announced the 2024 list of key product energy efficiency leaders and water efficiency benchmark enterprises. This initiative aims to enhance green and low-carbon development within the petroleum and chemical industries.
Energy Efficiency Leaders
Among the recognized enterprises, Zhenhai Refining & Chemical and Maoming Petrochemical were highlighted as energy efficiency leaders in ethylene production. Qingdao Refining & Chemical, Guangzhou Petrochemical, and Zhongke Refining & Chemical were acknowledged for their efficiency in crude oil processing. Jiujiang Petrochemical was noted for para-xylene production, and Tianjin Liquefaction Company was recognized for LNG receiving station efficiency.
Water Efficiency Leaders
In terms of water efficiency, Jinling Petrochemical, Zhenhai Refining & Chemical, and Tianjin Petrochemical were recognized for their performance in crude oil processing. Zhenhai Refining & Chemical and Maoming Petrochemical also stood out in ethylene production. Additionally, Zhongtian Hechuang Chemical Branch was acknowledged for coal-to-olefin production, and Ningxia Chemical for coal-to-methanol production.
